The new Marvel Rivals Season 2: Hellfire Gala just started on April 11th, but now might be an even better time to join in the fun, especially if you’re a Razer fan. Razer boasts a wide range of products that aim to enhance immersive gaming through features like RGB lighting and customized vibration.
Razer promotes its Sensa HD haptics as, “the future of gaming immersion” and has integrated the technology with in-house products and third-party partnerships, similar to how the brand manages its advanced RGB lighting. To that end, Razer launched the world’s first HD haptic gaming cushion, the Razer Freyja only a few months ago at RazerCon 2024. The Freyja, along with the Razer Kraken V4 Pro headset and the Razer Wolverine V3 Pro wireless controller, support Sensa HD haptics in Marvel Rivals. Razer claims players can experience over 600 realistic and complex haptic feedback effects, all of which work together to accurately mimic distance and directionality in compatible games.
There are over 100 video games already compatible with Razer’s advanced haptic feedback, with Marvel Rivals only being the most recent. Along with the massive number of opportunities for unique, immersive feedback, Razer and Marvel have added a toggle button to the Marvel Rivals game launcher that allows players to activate over 300 dynamic lighting effects designed to react to in-game action. All you have to do is make sure you have the latest versions of the Razer Synapse and Razer Chroma apps downloaded.
Plus, to help celebrate this immersive partnership, Razer and Marvel Rivals devs have created a few promotions that gamers won’t want to pass up:
- Triple rewards when playing Marvel Rivals with Razer Cortex PC: Gamers who play Marvel Rivals Season 2 on a Razer Cortex PC will earn triple rewards from April 17, 5:00 PM PT to April 24, 5:00 PM PT.
- Razer GameFest Marvel Rivals Showdown: On April 26, players can visit various RazerStore locations in London and New York and compete in Marvel Rivals in head-to-head competitions. It’s a great chance to try out Razer Sensa HD Haptics and many other Razer gaming accessories.
- Doctor Strange’s Master of Black Magic Costume: Players who purchase qualifying products on Razer.com will unlock the Doctor Strange | Master of Black Magic costume.
